The Savior virus infects all .EXE and .SCR on the system. It waits until January 7th, and when an infected program is run, it displays the messsage "HUM4N G0D THA7 WAS MAN-M4DE WH3RE 1S Y0UR SAViOR N0W?!" After this, it overwrites Windows with its own code, causing Windows to be unable to boot. It then has to be reinstalled.
