Many have been taught a version of the Gospel that is based on fear, shame, and separation—but what if there's more to the narrative? In this episode, Baxter and Jason explore how the perspective we use to understand the Gospel can deeply influence our experience. Do we view it through the lens of the love of the Father, Son, and Spirit, or through the lens of fear and distance? With insights from Thomas Erskine, John McLeod Campbell, and George McDonald, this episode delves into the core of Trinitarian faith, showing how a love-focused understanding can help overcome feelings of shame and guilt, ultimately leading to life and freedom.
