This week on Across All Worlds, Dr. C. Baxter Kruger and Jason Clark continue their conversation with longtime friend John Crowder about his book, The Silence of the Word. Together they explore what it really means to become still, not simply to escape the noise around us, but to awaken to the deeper presence of Christ. In this conversation, Baxter, Jason, and John explore contemplative prayer, repentance, metanoia, union with Christ, and what it means to live from the reality of what has already been accomplished in Jesus. They rethink contemplation as a way of letting go of the clutter and false stories we have carried, becoming present to Christ, and learning to rest in the reality of who we already are in him.
