Timberborn

Beavers, dams, and disaster! Ee’re starting a brand-new journey in Timberborn. This is my first time ever playing, and we’re jumping into the deep end with a Hard Mode survival run. We’ll be navigating the brand-new 1.0 release content while trying to prepare for brutal droughts. I’m learning the ropes of building dams and floodgates on the fly, and let’s just say there’s a steep learning curve! Let's see if we can make these beavers proud!

Currently Playing: The Water is Finally Flowing... But a Drought is Already Incoming | Timberborn 1.0 | Episode 9

Episode 9 of Timberborn 1.0 is a rollercoaster of bad timing, questionable decisions, and somehow things working out anyway. We're fighting through a bad tide, a drought, ANOTHER drought, and at least three moments where I'm genuinely convinced we're about to lose everything — and yet the water is flowing, the channel is expanding, and the beaver colony is actually looking incredible. We also detonate more TNT, finally figure out the contamination sensor, discover that "fluid dump" is now called "discharge" (I am not a genius), and accidentally work our beavers through 24-hour shifts way too many times. It's fine. They're fine. Probably. Timberborn is a city builder and colony survival strategy game where you manage a beaver colony trying to survive brutal droughts and toxic bad tides. If you love indie games, base building, and watching someone learn things the hard way in real time — you're going to feel very at home here. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 – Builders panicking, colony check-in — we need more beavers 00:40 – Fixing the contamination sensor that completely failed last episode 01:34 – Bad tide in progress — 11.5 days in, dam redesign begins 02:13 – Deleting and rebuilding the whole dam setup (again) 03:22 – Expanding the growing area — potatoes and sunflowers incoming 04:52 – Deciding against bread production (two jobs we don't have) 06:31 – 10 days left in drought, builders missing — classic 06:43 – No builders at all. Not talking about it. 20:03 – Two days left in drought — water seep channel taking shape 20:45 – TNT plan for the next expansion route 21:20 – DROUGHT OVER — water seep flowing beautifully 21:41 – TNT detonation — beavers immediately get contaminated, obviously 22:37 – Building floodgates around the new water source 23:39 – Day 4 of the new cycle — bracing for a warning 24:13 – Planks running low — double plank production activated 24:53 – Another drought incoming — actually the best possible news 25:17 – Episode wrap-up — water is everywhere, trees are disappearing 25:34 – Episode 10 plan: finish the channel, expand lodging, more beavers 👍 If this made you feel better about your own decision-making, drop a like — it genuinely helps a small channel grow and gets this in front of more people! 🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss Episode 10 — we're finishing the big water channel, expanding beaver lodging, and trying very hard not to forget about 24-hour working shifts again. 💬 Comment below: do you know where "be fruitful and multiply" is from? 📌 Full Timberborn 1.0 Playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLftxjH2zbth0aABDSGbDX9cwMAfrF8xGj&si=uuo8J_yW7Y4XlyU3 #Timberborn #Timberborn1 #ColonyBuilder #SurvivalGame #CityBuilder #Dregenon #IndieGames #StrategyGames #LetsPlay #GamingYouTube #Drought #BeaverColony #TimberborNPlaythrough #IndieGaming #BaseBuilding
