Episode 6: Day 10 Flower, BluMat vs. Tray2Grow & Organic Feeding We’re officially at Day 10 of flower in the three-tent side-by-side grow, and the Blueberry Muffins are already starting to show some exciting changes. I start with an update on all three tents, comparing plant growth, overall health, and how the BluMat and AutoPot Tray2Grow irrigation systems are performing. The 30-gallon Grassroots container with the BluMat continues to look great, while the Tray2Grow plants are catching up and showing some interesting differences in growth and moisture levels. I also go over the environment inside the tents, including temperature, humidity, and PPFD measurements under the Grandmaster lighting. With the lights running at full intensity, I explain why keeping everything balanced is more important than simply pushing the plants as hard as possible. The main focus today is organic feeding during early flower. I walk through a feeding using Build-A-Veg, Build-A-Bloom, Big 6 Micronutrients, Rootwise microbes, enzymes, and coconut water powder. I also explain how to apply the same amount of nutrients across different irrigation systems without overwatering, especially when comparing top-watered BluMat containers with bottom-watered Tray2Grow setups. With all three plants looking healthy and the flower stretch underway, I’m excited to see how they continue developing over the next couple of weeks. We’ll also be turning on the under-canopy lighting soon, adding another interesting element to this side-by-side comparison.
