Episode 5: Official Flip to Flower, Day 0 & 12/12 Light Cycle It’s officially time to flip the three-tent side-by-side grow to flower. Before making the switch, I take a closer look at all three Blueberry Muffins plants and compare what I’m seeing between the BluMat and AutoPot Tray2Grow setups. The 30-gallon Grassroots container with the BluMat is still slightly ahead in overall size, while the Tray2Grow plants are showing some interesting differences in growth pattern and moisture levels. I also check the environment inside each tent, talk about how the different irrigation methods are performing, and explain why I’m keeping the rest of the variables as consistent as possible. The under-canopy lighting will stay off for now and come back into the comparison once the initial flower stretch is finished. Then it’s time to make the flip. I adjust the AC Infinity lighting schedule from 18/6 to 12/12, officially making this Day 0 of flower. I also go through the feeding plan for the beginning of flower before cleaning up the plants with some pre-flower defoliation and removing lower growth beneath the trellis. Now that we’re officially in flower, the next few weeks should start revealing more about how these different setups perform side by side.
