Han Solo, a legendary pilot, shares tales of his daring adventures piloting the Millennium Falcon! Who is Han Solo? Han Solo's adventures have taken him across the galaxy, and he has been known as a scoundrel, smuggler, and ultimately a hero. Growing up in the slums of Corellia, Han Solo became quick-witted and street-smart, serving the vile gangster Lady Proxima. After betraying the crime lord, Han escaped off-world, but Proxima's thugs captured his sweetheart, Qi'ra. Han, with nowhere to go, signed up for service with the Empire, determined to become a pilot. Years later, he found himself discharged from the Imperial Academy and on the mud world of Mimban. Irking his superior officers, Solo was tossed into a pit -- where he encountered an angry Wookiee named Chewbacca! While they initially fought, Han quickly came up with a plan, and they worked together to escape their cell. Han and Chewie soon joined up with Tobias Beckett and his group of thieves. After taking a job for the gangster Dryden Vos, Han was reunited with Qi'ra, who now served the crime lord. Soon, Han Solo, along with Tobias, Chewbacca, Qi'ra, Lando Calrissian, and L3-37, launched a desperate mission to steal coaxium from the spice mines of Kessel; in their escape, Han and Chewbacca piloted Lando's ship, the Millennium Falcon, through a maelstrom, completing the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs. Following a game of sabacc, Han won the Falcon from Lando. Years later on Tatooine, Han Solo and Chewbacca met Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker. Han and Chewbacca agreed to fly them to Alderaan, but upon arrival, were captured by the Empire and pulled into the Death Star. They discovered that Princess Leia was also being held on the Death Star; while Han was reluctant to get involved, he soon joined Luke in rescuing her. They eventually escaped the battle station, and once Han delivered Luke, Leia, and the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO to the rebel base, he decided to leave -- just as the rebels prepared to launch an attack on the Death Star. In the ensuing battle, Darth Vader and flanking TIE fighters closed in on Luke's X-wing; but before the Sith Lord could destroy Skywalker, Han Solo and Chewbacca zoomed toward the Death Star in the Millennium Falcon. They blasted the TIEs, and Vader's ship spun away, out of control! Luke made a nearly impossible shot, destroying the Death Star, and Han Solo returned to the rebel base with his friends. Han Solo remained with the Rebel Alliance as they moved to the remote ice planet, Hoth. But Han still owed a debt to Jabba the Hutt, and decided that he must leave, though his emotions were conflicted. Before he could get off-planet, however, the Empire arrived, and Solo took Princess Leia and C-3PO in the Millennium Falcon, barely escaping. The Empire pursued Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon relentlessly, and the bounty hunter Boba Fett eventually tracked them to Cloud City. There, Darth Vader freezed Han Solo in carbonite, and Fett took Han to Jabba the Hutt. Finally, Luke, Leia, Lando, Chewie, and the droids launched a mission to rescue Han Solo. They successfully freed Han from the clutches of Jabba the Hutt. Solo became a general, and led the rebel forces on the forest moon of Endor, successfully destroying the new Death Star's shield generator -- giving the rebels a chance to destroy the battle station. Thirty years after the Battle of Endor, Han Solo and Chewbacca returned to smuggling, hauling rathtars. They soon encountered a Jakku scavenger named Rey and the First Order deserter Finn, who came into possession of the Millennium Falcon. Han agreed to help get their droid back to the Resistance, and Solo soon reunited with Leia; their son, Ben, had turned to the dark side, and was now known as Kylo Ren. Leia believed there was good in him, and Han would risk all to reach out to his son. Han Solo remains one of the greatest heroes in Star Wars!
