Hi Everyone! It is that time of year when exterior wood decks need some TLC. This video is showing you how I typically clean a hardwood exterior deck. This deck is made out of a Brazilian Hardwood called Tigerwood. I start out with a light rinse down then I apply a liquid chlorine solution to kill off the mold and moss. With a light pressure time I sweep back and fourth removing the old dirty look. I didn't follow up with staining this particular deck because the home owner liked the gray look. Hardwood decks are very durable and treating them isn't nessesary unless you want to keep the natural color of the wood alive. I think this turned out pretty good, the homeowner was extremely happy with the results. Thank you for watching!
