Currently Playing: Phoenix Route | Lava Housing Manhunt Variation

i set the goose on fire πŸ¦β€πŸ”₯πŸ¦β€πŸ”₯πŸ¦β€πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ DONT SEEDCHANGE ITS LEGIT FINE this setup is meant to be very similar to a normal manhunt route that also has a leaves/wood version. it is not that slow in speed compared to goose (maybe 5-10 seconds slower i didnt really check) and just depends on pig count. you won't be trading backups as you mine, but the trade end time wont really be affected much even if you do trade them (i have a version where u also trade them but i do not think it is worth it). Regular hole Showcase: https://youtu.be/x1atDO0-594 btw if you're at the top, boating down and forcing manhunt is better than topdown lava housing (unless bad terrain) compared to other routes, it's similar in speed or even slightly faster and much easier than shrddr and turbo plumbing --- 0:00 Phoenix Showcase 0:55 Leaves/Wood Version 1:33 Extra Info 2:01 Unrelated - Crossroads Junk --- The wood/leaves version of Phoenix (and all other lava manhunt routes) has some issues that are not really fixable. I set the fire to spread very fast so the showcase I did is an "extreme scenario" to simulate unlucky scenarios and the route is already quite consistent. If you want blocks to burn in the practice map, copy and paste these commands: /gamerule doFireTick true /gamerule randomTickSpeed 3 3 is the normal value, you can put a higher value to simulate unlucky scenarios. I also recommend running with terrain enabled and check where piglins pathfind. You can get 20 pigs doing this, but with terrain on you get considerably less and you kind of need to react to modify their pathing which I heavily recommend you start doing and practicing while routing any manhunt routes even with no lava (especially wet manhunt, make sure everything is connected if it is safe enough to do so and doesn't take a lot of time). --- YAP STARTS HERE First of all, things burn (shockerrrr), and the blocks that burn can leave fire which can kill piglins. Burning is not really a big issue since they should be able to live, but they could be on low hp if they dropped off from high heights or if they touch lava, which can definitely happen with this setup. You could place blocks that I have placed in the sandstone showcase, but fire can still spread and possibly make the situation worse if unlucky. You are free to try and place them anyways hoping that it takes long enough to burn. Another issue is that the fire on the ground caused by the blocks you place could prevent piglin pathfinding. In the showcase I did, it should not be a big issue, however if you decide to add some blocks you do need to keep that in mind. You might be wondering why I decided to make the entrance 1 block to the right, and that's because if leaves burn they are still able to get up and it is safer for piglins in general. You also get extra blocks to set up Phoenix. Be aware that pigs can hit you when they jump up on the chest or get shot into you. A good thing to do is to toss distraction/gold if you have any, like how you would do in Goose to prevent getting shot. Anyways realistically you should already have some fireproof blocks or you have time to do Goose so I would not worry too much about leaves/wood but it's good to know Small thing 0:00 you will not collect the chest if you break from 1 block above and still be able to collect the loot (good if you don't care about putting junk inside the chest) --- tldr - in leaves/wood variation what I did in the showcase is safe enough for you (should probably toss distraction at double chest) and for piglin pathfinding. However a few pigs could possibly burn to death. Minimum burnproof blocks required: 7 at double chest + 7 for the minimum phoenix = 14 blocks (3 or 6 some of these you get mining double chest blackstone + 1 at the backups) If you don't want to switch blocks while building: 20 Inspired by Goose Route (credits Reek and Doogile for making that route) https://youtu.be/aaBTDYtGoNk Special thanks to Flanere, Reek, pavkin, amartema and sillypion. W Flanere for the Thumbnail There probably is better micro at the double chest to prevent burning if you want to look into that.
