Just know that losing only 1 pig won't have much impact on the route so you should ask yourself if it's worth it to hard toggle to save 1 pig (can consider when low pig count). You should be very mindful when you mine the blocks to let the pigs in at the beginning of the route. This is only something you should be worrying about in double triple. If you do quicksand start you will never have to worry about it (some risk), otherwise you can just vibe it: if you aggroed early enough you probably won't need it, otherwise consider switching to normal or hard (pigs on normal can fall 9 blocks, they may have been damaged by 4 blocks fall earlier but combined with a 7 block fall they still will fall, for more info on hp thresholds you can dm me or check rankedcord trawa document thread). An additional thing is that when you are inside the hole, you should be hugging the wall since piglins can technically steal the gold blocks. The two downsides of this hole is that you cannot do it if there are pigs in the way. However they will still be distracted so at least you won't get hit and you can just do the regular hole without any issues. You also kinda have to toss gold on a different spot from backups so grabbing trades back will be different from normal. You can overlap it with looting the double chest which makes it fine. Otherwise you lose back the advantage and it will be time neutral. Apart from all of this, this is a free 3 seconds overlap time save and everyone should hop onto this. - -4 blackstone, could say -5 since one overlapped with running towards the hole - easy to toss gold to the pigs - easy to piedar - easy to exit - trading uptime easily kept (11 blackstone broken vs 7 blackstone of which 1 is overlapped) You can and probably still should hard toggle. It's the consistent play but not hard toggling is also an interesting option with no risks other than losing a pig at most (2 if really unlucky but that doesn't really happen) Credits to crossroads for the hole and trawa for hard toggle testing and late pigs issues.
