Weekly Poker Hand

Currently Playing: She Rivers QUADS and WINS $750,000!!!!!! [Triton Cooler]

The Triton Montenegro invitational cash game had incredibly high stakes with insane action as this hand started with a phenomenal $8,000 straddle! Elizabeth Chen and Elton Tsang are the two that head to battle in this $750,000 hand! Tsang finds himself with an unlikely full house facing a check-raise all-in by Chen with a mystery hand. Is Tsang’s boat good enough to make the call and ship this huge pot? Do not always be fooled when you are getting amazing pot odds. When you are on the flop with an under pair to the board you should often fold your hand that will have very few cards that may help you on the river. Elizabeth Chen is from China and only has one live tournament score to date. That came at the 2024 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Montenegro, Budva in the $125,000 Main Event where she finished 9th for $478,000. She has only played twice on live streamed cash games and is down over $500,000. Elton Tsang is an investor from Hong Kong who was born in Canada. He has over $24,000,000 in live tournament earnings putting him in the top 35 on the all time money list. His biggest cash of $12,248,912 came from winning the $1,000,000 buy-in One Drop Extravaganza, Monte Carlo in 2014. Since 2012 he has played on over 68 live streamed cash games and is up over $270,000. Triton Poker was founded in 2015 by Paul Phua and Richard Yong; their aim was to attract a healthy mixture of recreational poker players and seasoned poker professionals. Part of what makes the Triton Series so special is that it’s open to a wide range of poker players – not just a select few. They envisioned Triton as a series of poker events providing excellent entertainment value for audiences passionate about poker. Some of the most famous poker players to have appeared at Triton events have been Phil Ivey ‘RaiseOnce’, Tom Dwan ‘Durrr’, Patrick Antonius ‘The Finn’, Michael Addamo ‘imluckbox’, Chris Brewer, Jason Koon ‘JAKoon1985’, Tony G, Dan Cates ‘Jungleman’, Doug Polk ‘WCGRider’, Stephen Chidwick ‘stevie444’, Linus Loeliger ‘LLinusLLove’, Isaac Haxton ‘philivey2694’, Mikita Badziakouski ‘fish2013’, Timofey Kuznetsov ‘Trueteller’ and many more. Holding a mystery hand, she raises to $24,000, with only Elton Tsang to get through in the double straddle. Tsang calls in position with pocket threes and they head to the flop. 💸 Flop - Ah Kc Ts: The ace-high rainbow flop sees Chen put out a small continuation bet of $15,000. Tsang has an underpair to the board, but decides to call with his crabs despite not getting the correct pot odds and they head to the turn. 💣 Turn - 3d: The 3 of diamonds on the turn doesn’t bring in any backdoor flush draws. Chen checks with her unknown hand to Tsang, who has turned the best card in the deck for his crabs, hitting a set. He fires out a bet of $65,000, which Chen calls. 🌊 River - Th: A board-pairing ten of hearts on the river sees Chen check for the last time. Tsang improves to a full house, threes full of tens, and puts out a huge pot-sized value bet of $215,000. What will Chen do with her mystery hand? Will she fold, call, or check-raise all-in for $270,000? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to find out!
