This lecture concentrates on the surprising transformation in the narrative of the heroine Orual in C.S. Lewis's masterpiece Till We Have Faces, as she recounts her complaint against the gods.
It is subtle and powerfully done within the context of the novel itself, but I suggest it draws together themes and ideas that had permeated Lewis's thought from the time of his conversion.
