Welcome to another narrated Saturday Open Mat! In this video, I'm rolling two full 6-minute rounds and also narrating a bonus standing round between the Johns. Round 1 features John, a 22-year-old white belt competitor, against me—a 54-year-old brown belt. Although he's only been training for four months, he's in the academy four days a week and has been incredibly consistent. It's been great watching his progress, and this round shows just how quickly dedication can pay off. Round 2 is with another John, a blue belt with two years of experience who also competes regularly. He's a talented young grappler with a technical game, and I've included a link to his Instagram below so you can check out some of his tournament matches. As a bonus, I also narrate a round between the two Johns, breaking down the techniques, decisions, and key moments as the action unfolds.
