She always knew she was going to have a home birth as her own mama birthed her and her siblings at home and all of her friends were home birthed too, so it was just the norm in her circles. She went on a journey to find the right midwife for her and she wouldn't settle until it felt just right, which took her to the very end of her pregnancy. In the end she ended up having a natural home water birth, just as she had envisioned. In this episode we also discuss coming of birth control and the effects of that, having an anterior cervical lip and the actual truth about that and how listening to your own inner voice and intuition is the most powerful tool in pregnancy, birth and motherhood.
