We start with a trip to PlayStation HQ in Foster City, California where Tommy Tallrico spends some time chatting with the VP of 3rd Part R&D, Phil Harrison about the PlayStation 2. Then Tommy is in the Oddworld booth at E3 ’99 in Los Angeles with Lorne Lanning and Sherry McKenna, co-founders of Oddworld Inhabitants. The trio discuss the creation of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. Afterwards, also at E3 ’99, Tommy catches up with the president of the Academy of the Interactive Arts and Sciences, Jim Charne about their brand new awards show. Then at an AIAS-awards event in Beverly Hills, Zoe Flower tracks down award-winner and game industry luminary, Sid Meir, for a chat about his game Alpha Centauri and what he’s working on next. Immediately after that Zoe’s at E3 ’99 waiting on Tom Hall, co-founder of Ion Storm, to discuss his game, Anachronox. After the break Zoe is in Kirkland, Washington to hang out with Monolith Productions’ CEO, Jason Hall about their library of games and their LithTech engine. Zoe also speak with artist, Israel Evans, and composer, Guy Whitmore about their work at the studio. And then Tommy joins Nintendo’s Bryan Hartmann at E3 ’99 to discuss Rare’s intriguing new game, Perfect Dark. What’s in Zoe’s Pocket? Ballistic for the Game Boy Color.
