15 years ago, two mates pointed a couple of 4WDs at the top of Australia and had no idea it was about to change their lives. This one trip started everything; the channel, the careers, the friendship. Now Shaun and Graham are recreating it, in the original rigs. The OG Dirty 30 and Shorty are back! For the first leg, it's an east coast run hitting Cape Flattery and pushing in their own track to Loyalty Beach, the first pit stop of the trip. This is the trip that started it all, done properly, one more time. 👇 Drop it below: 🛻 How good is it to have the old rigs back?: ____ Chapters: 00:00 Intro 01:54 Map 03:20 Meet the Crew 04:21 Camera Car Stuck 06:07 Hitting the Coast 07:26 Abandoned Trawler 08:09 Cape Flattery Mine Tunnel 10:55 Connie's Beach Camp 14:00 Walkaround the OLD RIGS 21:50 Into the Unknown 23:50 Eroded Track 30:23 Back Burning Ahead 31:40 Small River System 33:40 Camp 35:35 Sexy Chicken 39:47 Checking over the Rigs 42:38 Cyclone Damaged Track 44:49 Pushing Through the Backburn 45:25 Adventure Complication 46:43 Part 2 Teaser 🚗Our Crew: Steve from Pinnacle 4x4: https://www.pinnacle4x4.com.au Tim from STEDI Lighting: https://www.stedi.com.au Pete from Ultimate 9: https://www.ultimate9.co 🔧 Our Gear: Mazda BT-50: https://www.mazda.com.au/cars/new-bt-50/ Scrub King: https://www.scrubking.com.au Bridgestone Tyres: https://www.bridgestone.com.au/ GME: https://www.gme.net.au/au/ Drivetech 4x4: https://www.drivetech4x4.com.au/ Pacemaker Exhaust: https://pacemaker.com.au/ Raptor Coatings: https://raptorcoatings.com/au/ Metabo Power Tools: https://www.metabo.com/com/en Samba Fire Logs: https://www.sambafireandbbq.com.au/ OEX: https://www.oex.com.au/ Clearview Towing Accessories: https://www.clearviewaccessories.com.au/ Dometic Fridges: https://www.dometic.com/en-au/outdoor Survival First Aid Kits: https://survivalfirstaidkits.net.au/ Darche Camping Gear: https://darche.com.au XXXX: https://www.xxxx.com.au RUNVA Winches: https://www.runvawinch.com.au On Track Meals: https://ontrackmeals.com/ Repco: https://www.repco.com.au Offroad Animal: https://offroadanimal.com.au/ 📱 Follow us: Instagram @4wd247 Facebook @4wd247 TikTok @4wd247 Shaun, Graham Cahill, Jock & Jesse — formerly with 4WD Action — have been delivering Australia's best off-road content for 20+ years.
