OPEN ME!: After a slightly stressful week, I was ready to just relax on Friday. I did my usual run to Whole Foods in the morning and then I headed down to Changing Hands bookstore to do some writing at Wildflower cafe before meeting a friend to chat and catch up and then do some book shopping. Back at home I shared a writing update as well as showed you the book I bought and then settled in for a cozy evening including a craft project and watching TV before I discovered an unfortunate surprise in the kitchen. Why can't life just be simple? Like, just for one day? All in all, it was still a mostly lovely day.
