A slightly more themed piece this time around, was really looking for an interesting concept to tie to this head design, as I've sketched something similar more than once at this point, so the record player idea seemed like a nice fit. Really happy with the color palette and how the style blend worked out. in terms of process, I decided to print out the original thumbnail, since it ended up quite clean and surprisingly exact to the idea I had. Sadly that made the process video somewhat incomplete at the front end, but the painting process and clean thumbnail made the timeline faster and tighter, making the video shorter and easier to watch :). Size is A4, on 300gsm cold pressed watercolor paper. here are the tools used: 1. blue colored pencil and copic multiliner for the thumbnail 2. Tombow ABT brushpens 3. Tombow Fudenosuke felt tip brushpens 4. ACRYLIC, and Arrtx acrylic markers 5. Arteza colored fineliners process was recorded as timelapse at 1 frame every 4secs, over multiple days, no idea how fast that is in % of realtime.
