Currently Playing: "WHAT" by Spu7Nix | Geometry Dash 2.11

Spu7Nix has been working on this for a little while now, dropping occasional previews in GeoStorm. However, I've mostly stayed away from watching them aside from the content of his preview a few months ago, so the later parts are new to me. First off, though, the first 2 parts which were seen in the preview feature some insane 3D visuals, which is fitting since this is like a spiritual successor to "HOW". However, there's definite improvement to be seen with the 3D visuals being much more polished here. There are still some minor glitches here and there, but that's very minor and I'd assume it's due to a limitation of the game. The later parts definitely live up to the start, with 0:22 featuring a sick ship part and 0:50 featuring references to tons of great levels throughout the game's history. This is a cool way of capping off 2.1. It's also very impressive how accurately he recreated the different cubes, especially their rotation and even the particles on the ground at 0:50. Well, "impressive" pretty much describes the whole level. My favorite part remains the iconic wave at 0:08 due to its color mixing, unique perspective, and synchronized movements, but it's hard to pick one. Every part is amazing and I particularly like the smooth transitions between them all. As for the gameplay, this is very easy and enjoyable to play which is unexpected because of its visuals that look nothing like the base game. Spu7Nix has generally done a great job at that throughout his creating career, which is good to see continue. However, this all assumes that you can actually load the level. Unfortunately the object count is very high, being around 600K, making it a major risk of crashing your device. If you're on a lower end device, you should probably use the low detail mode, seen at 1:32, which is quite cool on its own. However, with this in mind, it may get only a star rating or nothing at all. Creating something this crazy is still a bit beyond Geometry Dash's limitations, which is something that we can hope will change in the future. For now, it's at least an awesome level to watch while knowing that something this groundbreaking was made in our $4 game's editor. I'm both excited and worried about what Spu7Nix will do with the 2.2 editor. At this point I feel like nothing he does can surprise me anymore, but it always happens again and again. ★ Become a Member of my channel for special perks: https://www.youtube.com/vipringd/join - VIDEO INFORMATION - Game (version): Geometry Dash (2.11) Level: "WHAT" by Spu7Nix ID: 95174837 Music: "Babaroque (WHAT Ver.)" by cYsmix https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1245665 - LINKS - Discord: https://discord.gg/viprin Twitter: https://twitter.com/vipringd Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/viprin Merchandise: https://viprin.creator-spring.com/ Thumbnail by Erdyuri: https://twitter.com/Erdyuri
