Currently Playing: "Sky Tower" (Demon) by rafer [All Coins] | Geometry Dash 2.11

The normal route is shown from 0:00 to 2:03, while the coin route starts from 2:03. It's important to see both to see all of the effort Rafer put into this level. Unsurprisingly, the coins are much harder than the normal route, almost being a different level gameplay-wise, but we'll get back to that further down in the description. This is a level I've been anticipating for a long time. Design is my personal favorite style, and Rafer executes it in such a nice way in my opinion. It can be a bit chaotic and messy at times, but he makes it work despite that, and it's a part of the charm of his style in my opinion. The crazy colors go hand-in-hand with that, and make for what you can call a beautiful mess. Some parts in this are incredibly neat and clean too, though, such as the first 20 seconds. On the other hand, just take a look at 1:37 for the beautiful mess I just mentioned. It being beautiful is of course subjective, but I think we can all appreciate the work Rafer puts in. Just like in Silico, this is a themed level with a story behind it. I hope you all go check out Rafer's video of this, as it includes an amazing animation that describes the story more! This will most certainly be an Epic Easy Demon, and I advise you all to play it, although without the coins... - COIN RATING - Viprin Certified. 4/4. Of course, Rafer went all out on the coins once again. I'll preface this by warning you not to get the coins unless you're bored and want a challenge. They're overly complicated and require a lot of memorization and extra skill. At the same time, they're so intricate and well-made, including originality, that I can't give them anything less than a Viprin Certified rating. I won't give a coin a lower rating for doing too much, even though I do have to say that I prefer coins that do something short and original while still being challenging instead of being an entirely different level, like this is. • 1st coin: Viprin Certified. You need to start holding immediately as the level starts. This pushes the boat down with the icon's weight. Now, if you jump on the boat right where you pass the lantern, you can barely make the boat sink before the next platforms, making bubbles appear that take the platforms higher up. This is incredibly original, worthy of a Viprin Certified rating, but of course, that's not all. Following this alternate route above the normal one, you click a button at 2:13, and at 2:16 you need to click and hold right as you enter the bubble to use it. At 2:20, you need to touch the lever, which activates the next trigger orb. Using this enables a path on the spikes, and 2:23 you collect extra firepower. With this, you can now go straight through the brown rocks at 2:34, and finally rewarding you with the first coin. Before the minigame part, this first coin plays completely different from the norma route, requiring a lot of searching and extra skill to get. The bubbles and firepower make the coin original enough for this rating. • 2nd coin: Viprin Certified. At 2:45, you need to use the orbs and jump as late as possible to get below the normal route. Here, you jump into a button, and a monster pushes you up. At 2:49 and until 2:55, you just need to memorize all the random jumps you need to do to get the key. This key allows you to go through the bottom at this Ship part. You can now reach the coin inside a block of ice at 3:01, and this is thanks to the trigger orb in the alternate Ship route. This part is usually just the decorative waterfall blocks, and you can get up here in the normal route too, but without the water being frozen, you can't reach the coin. That is incredibly original. At the same time, the trigger orb also freezes the coin inside the ice block, but luckily the button at the start of the coin opens up the room below that melts the ice. Jumping and hitting the green block at 3:02 gives you the coin. • 3rd coin: Viprin Certified. At 3:06, you need to fly straight and avoid the X marks at the bottom. This allows you to go through the blocks in the UFO, where you find a magnet. It pulls the spikes away at 3:10, enabling you to take the alternate route where you find a fruit. This fruit is fed to the monster at 3:17, which spawns a small monster that puts a Wave portal at 3:22. Both this fruit and the magnet are very original, just as Viprin Certified requires. After this alternate route, the monster at 3:34 takes you to another alternate route, including some difficult timings and memorization. At 3:50, you need to do a tiny jump to reach the coin, and...--- BRUH! Character limit! I think you get it, the coins are very complex and original. - VIDEO INFO - Game (version): Geometry Dash (2.11) Level: Sky Tower by Rafer ID: - (not out yet) Music: Abyss of destiny by SoundHolicK https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/835437 - OTHER - Thumbnail by Erdyuri: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc6dBMhJ-mH-N2h6cC-O0Lg Outro by th31: https://www.youtube.com/user/LolThe1Guy #design
