While traveling Japan on my 50cc moped, I started dreaming about van life. During that long journey, I researched and rented different vans, saving little by little — and with the support from Nomad-Sans around the world, the dream started to become real. When the moped journey ended, I finally bought a used van and began turning it into my new home. Tonight I’m sleeping on the street in Tokyo. Right under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Earlier I was hanging out with some homeless guys and we had hot pot together. They told me I could spend the night with them, so this cardboard is my bed for tonight. Sometimes traveling Japan leads me to unexpected places and unexpected people.
