While traveling Japan on my 50cc moped, I started dreaming about van life. During that long journey, I researched and rented different vans, saving little by little — and with the support from Nomad-Sans around the world, the dream started to become real. When the moped journey ended, I finally bought a used van and began turning it into my new home. I thought van life would fix everything. I’ve been building my van and trying to move forward, but I realized something a few weeks ago — it’s still not enough. It’s not just editing and filming. Just living in the car uses a massive amount of battery. Charging from the car and solar isn’t fast enough to keep up with how much power I actually use every day. So even with a van, I still have to come back to an internet cafe. Van life looks simple from the outside. But the reality is different. Power, comfort, stability — they all take more than I expected. I’m still figuring it out. Still moving forward. Thank you for being part of this journey.
