I was probably a bit dismissive of the cave story, mostly because the article doesn't do a good job of explaining it. I'm sure theres more to it. I'm generally a bit sceptical of the whole 'resonant frequencies' explanation for paranormal experiences though. Then I started thinking, public toilets probably have the same sort of acoustics. Smooth, parallel walls. Add this to the eerie atmosphere of going to the bathroom alone during class. Could it go some way to explain the prevalence of the 'school toilet ghost' ?
