This HOI4 gameplay explores the absurdity of trying to project maritime power from a landlocked nation. We examine the specific focus trees available to Afghanistan, the British Empire, and the Timur Empire to see if any historical path can actually compensate for a complete lack of a coastline. It is a look at the game mechanics when you force them to operate in ways the developers never intended.
