In today's video, we filmed parts of out trip to northern Michigan. The first few days were cold, so we spent some time checking out the thrift stores in neighboring towns. We ended up picking up a few movies, a CD, a book, some pottery, and a few items of clothing. Then we went to an elk sanctuary. We decided to take a walk down the road, and noticed some fossils and other cool rocks right there in the dirt! Then, we had a nice 4 mile hike along the Au Sable river. Our friends joined us for a weekend, and we played some board games, did some outdoor activities, and made dinner and s'mores over the fire. The next day, we kayaked down the Au Sable river, and ended up finding a spot with a ton of amazing pudding stones, Petoskey stones, and other fossils.
