I purchased a laptop from eBay for $35 and after some testing I realized it had a broken LCD hinge and a CD drive that was not being detected. In this video, I show how I use a soldering iron to reseat the nuts for the broken hinge into the plastic base so that I can then restore the hinge to proper operation.
