Free Mixing Guide: https://www.annawakitsch.com/links First I โoil outโ the previous layer of paint with my favorite medium: Oleogel by Rublev/Natural Pigments. This brings back the gloss and darker values, and makes a nice surface to paint into. Just use a very small amount, and make sure the paint underneath is dry. Iโm working on Stonehenge oil paper from Legion Paper, and its higher absorbency helps speed up the layering process. Then I paint the highlight on her tear duct with the Warm-Cool Palette. This palette is a very simple and effective strategy for painting skin tones. Thereโs a free mixing guide on my website. I'm using a tiny brush by Raphael brushes. The full-length videos for this Bouguereau master copy are being published on my Patreon. #oilpainting #portraitpainting
