This is one of many ideas I came up with while brainstorming for my "DIY Drum Experiments" series, which you can find on Drumeo. I noticed that a 3/4" dowel fit perfectly onto a hi-hat seat which gave me the idea to shove it into a tom arm. I thought it would have taken a lot more finagling to make it work, but it just slides right in!
