In this review, I take the new Honda CB1000F out on UK roads to see what it's actually like to ride. I'm covering everything from its Fireblade-derived inline-four engine and power delivery to the handling, suspension, brakes, electronics, comfort and that low seat height. There’s a lot I really like about the CB1000F, particularly the way Honda has tuned the engine to suit this style of bike. But it isn't perfect. I also experienced noticeable vibrations at motorway speeds, a surprisingly snatchy throttle at times, and I wasn't completely convinced by the optional quickshifter and autoblipper.
