Made in 1968 and directed by John Weiley, this film documents the controversy surrounding the creation of the Sydney Opera House. The controversy also extended to the film itself. It was screened once by the BBC and then destroyed. Literally chopped to pieces. A silent print was discovered forty five years later and combined with tapes of the soundtrack kept by John Weiley. An updated narration by Bob Ellis has been added as well as new dialogue recordings that replace missing elements of the tapes. The film was screened in Australia for the first time on Thursday October 17, 2013 at the Sydney Opera House. It then had it's Australian television premiere on Sunday October 20, 2013 on the ABC.
