📍 Bu videoda Bangladeş’in başkenti Dakka’dayım. Brother, this is inedible. Honestly, this is inedible. I don't know if I'd die after eating this in Bangladesh. We were being crushed there. People were touching us all over . Is it worth it just for this biryani? No, brother. This is the place that makes the biryani for Dhaka's most popular biryani restaurant. We paid 10 taka. How much is 10 taka? 23. If you buy 5 for 23, you'll be full. That's how cheap life is in Bangladesh. This was also where my brothers sold samosas. Brother, salad, salad. Look, this is salad. He's kneading it just like he's kneading flour. Brother, we knead raw meatballs like this. You're kneading salad? Wow. Oh my God. Today we'll try some very interesting street food together. Hopefully we can cross over. This is called Bongo Bazaar. This is where all the street food starts. They sell incredible things. My dear brothers are washing them in buckets. After that, they sell food like this. Everyone eats from the same plate. I can say it's a very different place. Will we be able to try street food? I don't think my stomach can handle it, but of course I'll try. First, we have a tea from this guy. His place is really nice. Hey dad. We don't need you. Follow. These guys are following us. Why like that? My brother makes milk tea. Look, black tea, milk. He has a shop like this. It's quite nice and clean, to be honest. Brother, 10 taka. Hmm, nice, brother. It's really quite good. It's milk tea, it's the first time it's turned out good. This is a local tea from Bangladesh. But it's better in India and places like that. They call it masala tea. Sometimes they use something like milk jam. These guys add water to the milk. When they don't, they use what's in this jar. Look, brother, as soon as we got off the rickshaw, he found us. We were still in the motorbike, you know? They call these guys "hanchi". I learned that in Istanbul. If he takes you into a shop, he takes money. [unintelligible] What they're saying is, "I know 15 languages," [unintelligible] Iranian, Urdu, Bangla, etc. Is this a conversation topic? The guy said he knew 15 languages, it's a lie. He said a word or two. I understood he didn't know them. They take money from anyone they meet. At first, I said, "Don't follow me, brother." So you have to be careful. Especially in areas like this. There are a lot of muggers and thieves. I've encountered phone theft two or three times. We have to be prepared for everything. Not all people here, but some people... are poor, homeless. They do these things because they need to. I have an older brother with me whose first country was Bangladesh. He's my older brother. I don't know if I look alike? Don't forget to write in the comments. It 's your first country, and you're in Dhaka, Bangladesh. One of the most crowded and dirtiest cities in the world. What do you say about this? I don't know if it's because it's my first country, but it's a very different country. Extremely crowded. The air is very polluted, but the tea is good. I liked their tea. I drank it about 30-40 times. This guy's tea was really good. These are my first impressions. We haven't explored the whole area yet. We'll see when we do. He's a boxer, I called him to be a bodyguard. Hopefully, they'll take care of him when he's in trouble. Bangladeshis will see the power of the Turk. Just don't let a phone ring... they'll see how fast a man runs. Things are very chaotic. There was an election here. Now armed men are walking around. On top of cars. A man named Tariq was elected president. Things are chaotic. Let's see what happens in Bangladesh. Are the street foods bigger, or are we? This is the street where street food started. There's a kebab shop called Bismillah Kebab. It's quite popular. Crossing the street because of the traffic is very difficult. The country is very crowded. Prices are very cheap, but food requires courage. My dear friends, peace be upon you. This guy is cooking spaghetti. This is shawarma, chicken shawarma. Honestly, it's a very strange thing. It has a strange taste. This thing you see is chicken. The taste was very strange. I don't know how to explain it to you. The food here tastes completely different from the food in Turkey. The flavor is different, the hygiene is different. Everything is different. It feels so different to us. Look, my brother is selling dried fish here. Can you even eat fish? There's such a smell here. Peace be upon you, brother. Do you see his mouth? The men here use something called "paan." Their teeth turn orange, bright red. This might be the most interesting food of your life. Dried fish in Bangladesh… I don't know if I'll die after eating this. Brother, the smell is… I can't even describe it to you. Brother, this is inedible. Honestly, this is inedible. A pack costs 45 taka. I wouldn't take it even if they gave it away for free. I'd even pay them to not take it. People consume it here. Brother, if you want, I'll buy it for you. My brother uses a "scale of justice." It's an old scale. What did they call it where we live? You put 1 kilo on the right side, and when that 1 kilo comes, you weigh it. The taste of this is something else entirely. It's the most popular dish here, brother. Kacchi Biryani. This is rice with meat. It has a very delicious taste, brother. Peace be upon you. This is the most reasonable thing you can eat here. It tastes delicious. It's not at all contrary to our culture. The taste of other fish… If you swallow that fish, you might have problems. It's difficult if your stomach isn't strong. Don't mind me, I eat it. I've been in these regions for a long time. India, Pakistan… no problem. But that fish tastes really bad, man. You should see the stall. For example, you can't eat food from here. It's dripping with oil, would we eat here? They call it roasted eggplant, zucchini… A lot of weird things are being cooked. Not very appealing, guys. Where are you watching this video from? Write your city :) That's something with peppers. They sell local food here. That samosa you see is good. It tastes good. This is something with onions. Give us one zucchini. Come on, brother. Oh my god. Omega 5, man. Seriously, omega 5. This zucchini over there… couscous, couscous… couscous. Couscous. Wow. They're cooking fish in oil. Then they're cooking zucchini. Let me tell you something. Don't eat from here, just so you know. We're going to eat. According to the first pancake, we have our zucchini in hand. The guy said "couscous". I don't recommend the pepper. If you eat this pepper, you might have problems. But you can eat the zucchini. It's cooked in fish oil. Omega 5. Look, look, man. Take a close-up shot, wow! Omega 5. Edible. Breakfast. Brother, it's really good. Like our oily zucchini. It doesn't look appealing, but it's truly extraordinary. I tried it. It's my turn to test it. Brother, it tastes delicious. Yes, like our zucchini. But a little too oily. The zucchini has taken on too much fish taste. Is that possible? It's possible. Because they cook the fish and oil together, that's what happens. Can we get rid of it? Yes. Yes, brother, put a little bit in. We also have something like this put on the plate. He tried it, brother. Let's not eat fish. It doesn't look very appealing. Wow. I liked it quite a bit. This is something like meat. Kırdak, but they put so much spice in it that you can't taste the food. I swear you can't. The spice is too much. Is it good? It's so spicy, I swear it's excessively spicy. You can't taste the food with the spices. The spice is too much. Oh my God, there's nothing like it. I can't stand it… liver in pieces. Enjoy your meal, brother. Thank you. I invite all my dear brothers and sisters to try the Bangladeshi street food. They can happily share my meal. There's all kinds of food here. Don't hesitate to come. As a Turkish brother… I'm not recommending these dishes to you. My brother ripped us off. He saw us filming. They're selling something like this here too. People are always in line. "Brother, what are you selling here?" This rice you see. They put the rice in a bag. Wow, brother. They've put food on the counter here. "Brother, Assalamu alaikum." Wow. The guys are both paying and selling food. It's incredibly crowded inside. You can eat here. The atmosphere is amazing. Dua tea. [unintelligible] The most popular tea shop in Bangladesh. My brother's father says he opened it about 100 years ago. I know the owner. Brother, it's called "Malai tea." This is the most delicious tea in Bangladesh. Is the counter appealing? Write in the comments, but it's drinkable. We got our tea. This is a really popular place. They say it's the only place that doesn't add water to the milk. There's cream like this too. Amazing. Omega 5 Malai tea, fantastic. I offer my respects and regards. It's true I trust my body. Brother, we'll eat and drink, no problem. We worked hard in agriculture in Central Anatolia... we used to eat stones. Fish or anything else doesn't matter to us. Bangladesh? Call him over. Now, guess what we're going to try? Of course, it's a very "forbidden" substance. People in Bangladesh throw it away. Their teeth turn orange, bright red. Oh my God. Hey brother, come look, he'll prepare one. This is betel leaf. They put something like tobacco in it. I've never tried it, so I don't know what's in it. I don't recommend it at all. For tea, for soup, I don't know. My brother is preparing it for us now. First, he put aluminum foil. Then strange jelly-like things. Brother, this food we're going to eat is paan. If we get high in the middle of the street, we won't be able to find our way. He put almonds, sweets, sugar. If he puts tobacco in it, we don't want it . If he puts tobacco in it, we won't be able to find our way on the streets of Bangladesh. So we won't want tobacco. What's dangling? Of course, a lighter. They buy cigarettes one by one. Because cigarettes are expensive here. One by one so they don't get lost. A cigarette is about 20 taka. The price is written below. The economy is a bit tight. It's coming, brother, it's coming. Brother, no problem. Brother, my eyebrow is burning. It burned my eyebrow, I swear I could smell it. It burned, I swear it burned. It was like lava. He lit a fire, something burned, and he put it in my mouth. I think it burned my eyebrows a bit. Man, there are really strange things in this country. And there's the filth. The garbage situation is a big problem here. It was pretty good, man. Your mouth burns, but the inside doesn't. It comes out like a flame, it's very different. The taste is very sweet. There's nothing in it that will get you high. If there were, you couldn't eat it like that. You put it in your mouth, you chew it. This was a sweet we ate. It's very popular in Pakistan and India. They put sweet stuff inside betel leaves. If you don't want sweet, if you want something that will get you high, they put something else inside. Man, the restaurants are incredibly crowded. This local bread you see is parota, it's oily. People generally consume this. And there's also unsalted bread baked in a tandoor. There's pedestrian traffic. This is tandoor bread you see. On one side they fry it in oil. On this side they bake it in a tandoor. The traffic is very heavy. And we don't make it crowded. Look at the sweets. Greetings brother, how are you? Brothers are selling sweets here. This Gulab Jamun you see is very popular. I'm hungry, so I won't try Gulab Jamun. It resembles Kemalpaşa dessert. This is like our halka dessert. It's made of dough and cooked in oil. My brother tried it, he says it's Kemalpaşa dessert. It's the same, very good. Is it a Kandil simidi (a type of sesame bread)? Ramadan is coming, they're selling it like a Kandil simidi. Do you see? It resembles a Kandil simidi, but probably not. They buy it in the morning and dip it in milk tea. People consume quite a lot of it. Their breakfast is tea and eggs. Our meals are excellent… served here. Brother. [unintelligible] Let's eat one of these, brother. There's a hair here, but let's take it from this side. Give me one, brother. Yes, just one. Give me one, brother. My brothers are selling something here. Look. This has fish in it. Fish dish, brother. This is also a fish dish, brother. This is also a fish dish. Son, I don't know if these are edible. People eat them. They're very heavy meals. I want to taste them, but… it might upset my stomach. Brother, put one of these in. Put one in, brother. Here you go, brother. My brother is refreshing the oil here now. There wasn't any in the pot. They cook it so much until evening that the oil turns black. It turns into industrial oil. Pitch black. We got our samosa, it's very popular. I think there's something like minced meat in it. Hmm. With onions. Normally they put minced meat and potatoes. Very delicious. This was my brothers' restaurant. We paid 10 taka. How much is 10 taka? It's 23. If you buy 5 for 23, you'll be full. That's how cheap life is in Bangladesh. But not for the locals. This was where my brothers sold samosas. Brother, salad, salad. Look, salad here. He's kneading it just like he's kneading flour. We knead raw meatballs like that, right? You're kneading salad? Wow. Look at the restaurant. Oh my God. He put something strange in it. Something like flour, I think. They put so many spices in that you don't even know their names. And you don't even need to ask. They put cinnamon, coriander… in every dish. They must love cinnamon and all that. My brother, may God protect you. Honestly, you made a delicious salad. I don't know what you put in it though. Cinnamon… spices are a real problem. Here we have another extraordinary dish. It's quite good. They use so many spices in Bangladesh… I don't know why. Whether it suits them or not, they put cinnamon in, man. After a while you think… “Why was cinnamon and coriander necessary?” My brother here is selling vinegar, I think. My brother says, “Salam alaikum.” Wow. Original, original. This thing you see is very popular. Lassi. Let's get one from my brother here. Special lassi is 80 taka. Oh my God. We already spilled half of it on ourselves. Putting ice in it is dangerous. Because you don't know where they get the water from. But it's very popular with ice. You can think of it like yogurt with sugar. Original, original. Original. My brother is putting some of his special water in it, look. What's going on there, man? People are pushing and shoving to get into the restaurant. My God. What are they selling there, man? I really don't know. This brother is inviting people inside. He's shouting, “Original, original!” Original, original. It's a 100-200 year old restaurant. These places are all popular spots. Original, original. You can tell from the shouting. The restaurant opened in 1922. Despite being old, people flock here. These places are all local. Places where locals eat. You'll have a hard time finding them because they're so popular. Wherever there's a crowd, that's the best place. That's the rule in countries like this. [unintelligible] Biryani. Oh my God. Let's eat biryani right away, man. In a place where people are crushing each other… let's eat biryani too. Greetings, sir. Turkey. My dear friends, biryani is very popular. Now we're going to eat biryani. People were crushing each other here. One. Can't we have just one plate? What do you mean, not one plate of biryani , sir? God! Why are they doing this? How are we going to pay, guys? Oh my goodness. There's nothing here, sir. The guy sent us inside, but how are we going to pay? We can't even get food, sir. [unintelligible] Take it, sir, bring it here, sir. Let's be thankful we even got it. I've never seen such a crowd in my life. Such a crowded biryani restaurant… We got our biryani. They gave us a lemon. And then there was biryani. Brother, it was so difficult, oh my God. No spoons. What were we going to do? We were going to stick our hands in. The taste wasn't good, guys. I said it was crowded, it wasn't good. I was being crushed while getting biryani. The parking attendant was parking his bike. I said it was crowded, brother. The biryani wasn't good. We even stuck our hands in. No, brother, we were being crushed there. People were touching us in various places. Is it worth it just for this biryani? No, brother. We ate biryani from such a popular place that I was being crushed when I went inside. Wow, brother. They probably cook the biryani here, brother. Kacchi Biryani. Wow, they cook the biryani we bought here. Oh my God. Peace be upon you, brother. +You can't go inside. Brother, don't be afraid, okay? Turkey, Turkey. China. Where are you watching this video from? Write your city. We are all brothers, I am a Muslim, you are my brother, what's wrong with that? If I made a recording... How I convinced them, do you see? A sweet tongue can charm a snake out of its hole. Look at the atmosphere. They cook the biryani here. The fire is burning in the embers here. The reason it's so delicious might be because of the wood fire. They cook biryani exceptionally well. Wow! Wow! Oh my God! This is meat, man. First they cook the meat. Then they make the biryani with an amazing system. This is the place that cooks the biryani for Dhaka's most popular biryani restaurant. Oh my God. A sweet tongue can get anything out of a hole, that's true. I was passing by, and I immediately went inside. I went in sweet-talking. I filmed the video. And now we're leaving. I said things were chaotic, right? Now it really is. Soldiers, armed men are standing here. Normally they don't control traffic. But because of the election, things are chaotic, folks. Look, men are walking around with Kalashnikovs. Look, men are going with Kalashnikovs. Look, they've strapped a Kalashnikov to the top of the hill. Wow. These are soldiers. If soldiers are in the city, know that there's a security problem. Something is happening with security. That's why the soldiers are involved. It's like that in our country too. If the soldiers are involved, something is happening. Oh my God. The oil is foaming for some reason, brother. Did you pour detergent on it? What did you do? Brother, peace be upon you. Peace be upon you. And peace be upon you too. Look, brothers, they're cutting meat here. This is a butcher shop. Probably the biryani meat comes from here. They cut it fresh. You can buy it without fear. Look, it's still covered in feathers. Brother, may God protect you, take care. Nice pants. Brother, your underwear is nice. Thank you, thanks. He liked your underwear, you can leave from here. What's wrong? May God protect you. Brother, why did you stick the meat here? Art, Bangladeshi art. Art. You can eat the meat, they cut it fresh. They cut it in the morning. Most of the time the cows are standing in front of the door. It's very crowded, the meat runs out quickly. Peace be upon you, brother. Sometimes walking is so difficult… Look, they're also cutting chickens here. The dust from the traffic, the car gas sticks to the chickens. I don't know if it's sensible to eat them. But you shouldn't expect much health in Bangladesh. After all, this is Bangladesh. Look, man, they've dumped a ton of trash here. It's become a mountain of garbage. You might have serious problems if you ate this. I don't have the stomach to try it. If you do, I invite you to Bangladesh. Did a fight break out? Trouble, huh? Very troublesome. They sniff glue and stuff. Electrical cables and stuff. Amazing. We've come to the end of the video where you saw the interesting streets and street food of Bangladesh. I hope you enjoyed it.
