Currently Playing: All Diablo Prime and Lesser EVILS MAKE SENSE NOW!

Long before Sanctuary was born… before angels raised their silver spires and before demons drowned worlds in fire… there was only a single perfect being named Anu. And when Anu cast away every flaw, every hatred, every fear, every violent impulse from his soul… those discarded sins became something alive. Tathamet. A seven-headed dragon of absolute darkness. The battle between Anu and Tathamet shattered creation itself. From Anu’s spine rose the High Heavens. From the corpse of Tathamet came the Burning Hells. And from each of the dragon’s seven heads emerged beings that would become the greatest nightmare existence would ever know. The Great Evils. Diablo, the Lord of Terror, who could turn entire kingdoms insane with fear alone. Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred, whose corruption poisoned faith, family, and humanity itself from within. Baal, the Lord of Destruction, the architect of ruin who nearly corrupted the Worldstone and doomed all of Sanctuary. But beneath the Prime Evils stood horrors no less terrifying. Azmodan, the Lord of Sin, master strategist of Hell whose armies nearly conquered humanity forever. Belial, the Lord of Lies, a demon so deceptive that entire empires collapsed before realizing they were already under his control. Andariel, the Maiden of Anguish, who transformed suffering into worship and turned pain into devotion. Duriel, the Lord of Pain, a monstrous executioner whose only purpose was agony, brutality, and endless torment. These were not simple demons. They were concepts given flesh. Fear. Hatred. Destruction. Sin. Lies. Anguish. Pain. Together they shaped every tragedy in Diablo’s history. The fall of Tristram. The corruption of the Zakarum. The destruction of Mount Arreat. The invasion of Heaven itself. Every war, every betrayal, every massacre across Sanctuary can be traced back to the influence of the Great Evils. And the most terrifying truth of all… They can never truly die. Because as long as mortals fear… as long as they hate… as long as suffering, greed, lies, and destruction exist in the hearts of humanity… The Great Evils will always return.
