Warcraft III: Reforged – Forsaken Kingdom has just released, bringing us a brand-new chapter in Warcraft history more than two decades after The Frozen Throne. So the time has finally come to tell the COMPLETE STORY of Warcraft — from the opening of the Dark Portal and the First War to the fall of Lordaeron, the rise of the Lich King, and the birth of the Forsaken. This video covers the complete story and lore of the Warcraft strategy games in chronological order: Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, and the newly released Warcraft III: Reforged – Forsaken Kingdom. We begin on the dying world of Draenor, where Gul’dan, Kil’jaeden and the Burning Legion corrupt the orc clans and transform them into the Horde. From there, we follow Medivh and the opening of the Dark Portal, the invasion of Stormwind, the First and Second Wars, the formation of the Alliance of Lordaeron, Orgrim Doomhammer’s Horde, Gul’dan’s betrayal, Ner’zhul’s destruction of Draenor and the events of Beyond the Dark Portal. Then comes Warcraft III. The mysterious plague spreading through Lordaeron. Arthas Menethil’s desperate attempt to save his kingdom. The Culling of Stratholme. Frostmourne. The Scourge. The fall of Lordaeron and Quel’Thalas. Sylvanas Windrunner. Kel’Thuzad. Archimonde and the return of the Burning Legion. Thrall and the Horde’s journey to Kalimdor. Grom Hellscream. Jaina Proudmoore. Tyrande, Malfurion and Illidan Stormrage. And finally, the Battle of Mount Hyjal. But the story doesn’t end there. The Frozen Throne continues with Illidan, Lady Vashj, Kael’thas and the blood elves, the war for Outland, Sylvanas breaking free from the Lich King, the creation of the Forsaken, and Arthas’ final journey to Icecrown — where he ascends the Frozen Throne and becomes one with the Lich King. And now Warcraft III: Reforged – Forsaken Kingdom fills in another missing chapter of Warcraft history, beginning with Arthas’ return to Lordaeron and following the aftermath of the kingdom’s destruction, the rise of Sylvanas and the Forsaken, the founding of the Undercity, and the events that lead toward the beginning of World of Warcraft. From Gul’dan and the First Horde to Arthas and the Lich King, from the First War to the Third War, this is the story of the wars, betrayals, heroes and catastrophes that shaped Azeroth.
