Flax (linen) has been grown for centuries and it's one of the oldest domesticated crops with a history going back at least 9000 years. many people have become interested in the idea of growing a little flax for their own experiments with cordage, splicing, spinning and weaving, but are put off by the requirements to grow a large amount.
