While traveling through the dangerous Outlands, Kion finds himself separated from his friends. Stranded in unfamiliar territory, he encounters a hyena he believes he cannot trust. However, the unexpected encounter soon challenges everything Kion thought he knew about hyenas. As they spend time together, Kion discovers that appearances can be deceiving. He begins to realize that not every member of a group is defined by its reputation.
