The overabundance of mature galaxies at the so-called dawn of time has one scientific paper proposing that the age of the Universe be doubled to 26 billion years old. Swinburne University of Technology — February 14, 2024 — "Beyond what’s possible: New observations from the James Webb Space Telescope unearth mysterious ancient galaxy...how galaxies form and the nature of dark matter could be completely upended...a paper published today in Nature details a massive galaxy in the early universe—observed 11.5 billion years ago upends current modeling—has not enough dark matter built up in sufficient concentrations to seed their formation.” The burden of proof in cosmology is inverted.
