In the industrial area of Ellesmere Port lies the oddity of the branch line from Helsby with the parliamentary services that calls at Ince & Elton, and Stanlow & Thornton just a few times per day. So it was time to get up early - and with just enough winter morning daylight - and go and tick off this least used station. Thanks to Karl for coming with me.
