Pacific Crest Trail - 2025

Day 118 (Sep 7) of thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail northbound in 2025. As forest fire continue to emerge in Washington State, the trail is threatened and hikers are forced to find alternate way to progress northbound. While most hiking are skipping trail, I commit to my continous footpath hike across the U.S and put together a 30 mile reroute to get from White Pass to Chinook Pass. Obstacles in the way force me to create a new plan once again and weather turns on me causing me to look for a less than ideal shelter in the mountains.
