Day 102 (Aug 22) of thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail northbound in 2025. I woke up to forest fire smoke in the air, and while making northern progress became a priority, an injury slowed my pace. Despite the fire concerns, the day featured stunning alpine lakes, breathtaking views of the Three Sisters Wilderness, and some of Oregon’s most iconic PCT scenery. This section is truly a highlight of the trail.
