"Oho, what's this? We've had many guests come and go before, but this is the first time we've seen two new guests appear at the exact same time! The more the merrier, I say!" ------------- This song's basically an origin story of Kinger and Queenie: How the two fell in love, how and why Queenie abstracted, and how Kinger's dealing with it all. ------------- FINALLY I'm done with this song, and forget the meat bun song: THIS is my magnum opus! Surprisingly both this song and its music video took a lot less time that I thought it'd take, but that's only a good thing. It's funny how I got an idea for an Amazing Digital Circus fan song and then everyone else I know also wanted to make a fan song lol. The more the merrier, just like that lore quote above. -------- When it comes to making a Digital Circus song, you really gotta make it SOUND like it's from the digital circus, so I used soundfonts from old videogames: specifically Mario Paint, Earthbound, and Mother 3! I was also heavily inspired by Paper Mario for the whole visual aesthetic of the music video. Thousand year door already uses a stage as its battle location, so it only makes sense to have that be the aesthetic for a very theatrical musical-styled song -------- At first I thought the lyrics for this weren't good, but when listening to it multiple times, I think they're well made. The song's supposed to be like a musical number, so the lyrics have to both serve as lyrics AND dialogue. I love how much I was able to cram in story-wise (and using musical composition/lyric-writing tricks to convey certain things). I really hope you notice all the cool things I did with this song! -------- Credits: Kinger: Asterian (SynthV) Queenie: Solaria (SynthV) Paper mario sounds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD1-2eZA2Zo Tuning, Visuals, Composition, Production (basically everything else): Me
