About The Amazing Digital Circus is an independent animated web series created and directed by Gooseworx and produced by Glitch Productions.[1] The series follows a group of humans who attempt to maintain their sanity after becoming trapped inside a circus-themed virtual reality game. The series premiered on Glitch Productions' YouTube channel on October 13, 2023.[2] It received critical acclaim for its animation, dark humor, and characters, and amassed over 100 million views in a month, surpassing Hazbin Hotel's pilot as the most viewed independent animation pilot on the platform.[3] The short also received an Annie Award nomination. Gummigoo is/was an NPC that appeared in Candy Carrier Chaos! as one of the three crocodile bandits who stole the Candy Canyon Kingdom's maple syrup. Gummigoo demonstrates his proficiency as a strategist, adeptly planning for complex heists and missions. Despite his initial antagonistic demeanor, he exhibits emotional depth; after falling Outside of the Map, he discovers that he is an "NPC" with fake memories, subsequently grappling with existential anxiety and an eagerness to understand the unknown. Through the development of his relationship with Pomni where she comes to understand his hopelessness, he evolves from a seemingly antagonistic figure to a well-intentioned individual, illustrating his capacity for growth and redemption. Gummigoo, alongside Max and Chad stole the Candy Canyon Kingdom's maple syrup to save an unnamed village that he inhabited with the goal to bring it back and help his mom. After clipping through the ground due to the bandit's truck interacting with the faulty collision and falling out of the Map, he goes through an existential crisis after seing his own model and learning that he is an NPC. after he and Pomni clip back into bounds and re-unite with their respective friends, he was convinced by Pomni to try living in the Circus. Unfortunately, due to being an NPC, this was short-lived as he was almost immediately exploded into confetti by Caine, making Pomni despair. It is unknown what specifically happened to Gummigoo, however, according to Ragatha, Caine likes to reuse NPCs for future adventures, which may imply he is still alive and simply was removed from the Circus. Though, it’s uncertain whether his memories of his relationship with Pomni and realizing he is an NPC are still present. #theamazingdigitalcircus #tadc #gummigoosong #mcgwire
