What you sow matters. In Galatians 6, Scripture gives us a warning that is as relevant in 2026 as it was two thousand years ago: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” In this message, we consider what that principle means for our choices, our habits, our education, our relationships, and the institutions we leave to the next generation. From universities and modern technology to sexual morality, family life, Christian education, and the quiet compromises nobody notices at first, the same law remains: the seed eventually becomes a harvest. Education cannot redeem the human heart. Culture cannot do it. Technology cannot do it. Intelligence, credentials, money, and social approval cannot do it. A man may possess tremendous knowledge and still lack wisdom; an institution may achieve tremendous success while slowly losing its soul. But Galatians 6 gives us more than a warning. It gives us a choice: we may sow to the flesh, or we may sow to the Spirit. The decisions that seem small today may shape who we become years from now, and may influence people long after we are gone. God is not mocked.
