Hex and Halo see one of their friends going through hard times and try to help him before things get worse. But pride gets in the way. Instead of accepting help from people who genuinely care about him, he decides he would rather handle his problems on his own. That decision leads him to try to rob a jewelry store. Later, Hex and Halo find out on the news that their friend was killed during the robbery. Now they are left sitting with the reality that the help was there the whole time — he was simply too proud to take it. Sometimes pride does not make you strong.
