this Dark Souls 2. Last video, I fought the Lost Sinner and probably some other stuff. I don't really remember. I also bought this Alva set. One thing I've noticed about DS2, this game does not fail in the drip department, I must say. Hell, even the armor you start with is pretty cool. As long as the game keeps supplying me with sick ass armors, literally do not care about anything else. One of the problems that I have though is I really want to have very low equip load so that way I can get really like fast dodges. I don't exactly know how equip load works in this game, but I assume the lighter your armor, the better your dodging is going to be generally. But the problem is is that this armor is really [ __ ] cool. So, I either have to find a set that is lighter that I also think is really cool or I upgrade the hell out of vitality. So, last time I made it to this poison pool area, I just fought the skeleton lords. Yeah, you can see over there I did die uh to the fire ladies. So, before I go through the whole Harvest Valley area, I saw a comment that said in the gutter, if you light up all of the torches in the area, you get like invaded by somebody and they drop witch robes. All around this area, there are these God damn, I didn't want to fall down here. I meant to jump. All around this area, there are these little like effiges you can light up. Usually, these things are just for lighting up the area, but in here, there's like an excessive amount of them. Way more than you would ever need. I don't know if I have to light up every single one in this entire area. I will bring light to this place. Even if it does nothing, it will be nice to have this place lit up. Oh yeah, I don't know what to do about these doors. Locked doors and they have this like symbol on them. This one. Oh yeah, I also saw someone said that this shield blossom kite shield. It has the effect stamina recovery on it. So I assume I can just equip this and I don't actually even need to use the shield. I can just like have it on my back. And yeah, I'm still benefiting from the stamina recovery. Completely miss this thing. My brain turns off anytime I pick up shields cuz I just never use them. One thing I really like about Dark Souls II is that in the item description, you can just see the effect of anything. Like you can see here, this thing raises item discovery. This thing raises your equip load. I like that this game just tells you what the effect is on something rather than like giving you this vague description. It's a lot easier than like Elden Ring and stuff where it'll say like it is said that this shield can make one feel more alive. I don't know what the [ __ ] that means. I don't know how difficult lighting all of these torches actually is. The gutter is very confusing and hard to navigate. Please don't. It's still not worse than Blight Town. Honestly, this place is not even worse than the Tomb of the Giants. Ghost ahead. Try attacking right here. Oh, there is smooth and silky stone. Somebody told me I can use these uh for gambling. So, I've been holding on to any of those stones that I pick up. There's something that's like that one nest in Dark Souls 1 where you can like give it random [ __ ] Oh, light up these. I have no idea how many are in this place. This is probably a very tedious task, but I'm committed now. Is there a chest over here? That almost killed me. Okay, I've been cycling playing Dark Souls 1, Elder Ring, and then this game. All of these games have different buttons for jump. It's so [ __ ] up. Oh [ __ ] I'm getting evaded. Is this the NPC I need to kill? There's a chest over here as well. Oh my god. I'm not going to lie. For a while there, I thought there weren't any mimics. I thought it was like Elden Ring. I went quite a while without seeing any. This guy has a broken sword. He's just able to two hit me. Why did I come back here? I made the conscious decision to do this [ __ ] I cannot believe I got eaten by him. I don't even know how he killed me. I didn't open the chest. I hit it first. He didn't even give a [ __ ] He just ate me anyway. thing. Am I heavy? Oh god, they're very creepy in this game. Dark armor. Oh, it's the dark wraith armor. Doesn't really fit anything I have. I don't know where that butcher lady is right now. Oh, there she is. All right. I don't think this is the invasion that happens if you light all of the bonfires. I think there's just like an unrelated invasion. Get her off the ladder. Wait, wait. I am the superior fighter. The hell out of my world, [ __ ] Would never happen to a guy like me. Anyway, back to my chores. I figured I probably shouldn't be using my katana for like killing a bunch of regular mobs. Oh, yeah. I bought this arked sword using the flexile sentry soul. It's pretty cool looking. I'm not going to lie. Uh, it is ass. Unfortunately, it has a nice move set though. It just does [ __ ] damage. Wait, who are you? What the [ __ ] There's a guy down here. Wait, hold on. Fit check. Oh, it's the one from Dark Souls 1. Yeah, it's like the little wizard robe. Pretty decent fire and magic resistance, but I do have better stuff. Who's this guy? I completely missed this area. Oh, this is an enemy. I can't talk to him. He's like a hide knight. Oh, there's so much armor down here. I missed so much in this place. What the [ __ ] I'm so spiky. According to legend, the armor of Aurorius is composed of a mysterious substance that cannot be seen by cowards. What do your eyes tell you? This is like the most badass armor. Put back on the Alvisa, though. Honestly, I don't know what armor sets could beat this out. Although, it's definitely trying. Oh, he has a spear. [screaming] God damn it. I refuse to lose my hairline. Wait, there's a bonfire over here. I'm in a completely different spot. What? Okay, I finally made it back to the sky. That took me way longer than I care to admit. Go. Oh my god. Hide knight, iron mask, and hide lance. It's kind of nice, actually. I mean, I like this one better, but wait, what's this? Oh, what the [ __ ] How do I stop? I want to get down. Hold on. I just wanted like a strength dex weapon. Instead, I got [ __ ] ass. I don't know where any more of these bonfires can be. So, you do get invaded if you light all of the torches in here. This is the enemy that's supposed to invade you. What the [ __ ] What is happening? I'm getting shot at with my I'm almost done with this place. I'm almost done with it forever. I think I have lit every bonfire. I'm pretty sure all I need to do is just go to that area. I went down here and then I got invaded. Yeah. Yeah. Gutter Denison, please. Dude, I've been here for like an hour and a half. It's probably going to drop something and it's going to be like something I never use, but I don't even care. I did it for principal. So, she's casting like a lot of spells. I need something with high spell resistance. I just realized this armor has crazy stats. It has like the highest magic resistance. Dude, it's better than like everything. There she is. I'm going for it. Oh, you have no health. Oh [ __ ] Wait. What the? Took a bunch of damage cuz she fell down here. Goodbye. And then the black witch set. Was it worth it? Oh my god. Wait, you just got the legs out. There's no way that is practical. Oh, I get painted nails. I think this was definitely worth it. This stuff has crazy magic resistance. Best stuff I had before was the armor of Aurorius at 43. This one has 97. It is better at defending every type of magic. Okay, this was definitely worth it. I mean, it took me almost 2 hours. Robe worn by Zullie the Witch. Wait, that's an actual character in Dark Souls, not the YouTuber. I had no idea this was an actual character. I looked up the wiki for the gutter. It said somewhere in Black Gulch there's a key that will open that one door. There was a room with like two giants in it. Wait, hold on. I want to summon a guy here. Summon Bashful Ray. I [ __ ] hate this place. cuz I don't want to go here alone. Where's Ray going? What the hell? What is Ray doing? Is he okay? Why is he schizophrenic? Oh yeah, you get invaded by this loser. What the hell? Me and Ray are about to [ __ ] this guy's whole day. Get him, Ray. Oh sh got him. There we go. Easy. There's like a place I can jump down. I think it's over here. Oh my god, I'm alive. So, I think down here there's like giants or something. Yeah, there's these big guys. I think if I kill them, probably drop something. I don't know if it'll be the key that I need. Tried to fight these guys one time and they're very annoying to kill. Uh, I do okay damage. Oh my god. Get him. Oh [ __ ] Wait, do I have repair powder? I do. I got five. I'll use some. Got to like lure them over here into this tunnel. Then you can get them on like a one-on-one. Okay, got one. Do I have like something I can throw at them? I got fire bombs. Oh, I also have like a billion poison throwing knives cuz I've been killing all those zombies in the gutter. If I just start doing this, that does nothing. I'm going to assume I can't poison these guys. Wait. Oh, you can poison the [ __ ] out of them. I forget poison in this game is like a debilitating curse. I think I can buy more of these from that one Viking guy. And they can't follow me back here for some reason. Eat this. I thought that was going What? What are we doing, girlfriend? This is my maximum movement speed. Now I should pretty much have everything of use in the gutter. I'm very surprised with how much I missed in this place. I mean, I don't think you can blame me for not lighting all of the little sconces everywhere, but like there was a whole separate section that I didn't even find. Okay, now I think where I was going was through Harvest Valley. There's a summon sign. Who the [ __ ] is this? Wait, is this a real person? Their name is an all lowercase. There's more things back here. Yeah, there's like a bunch of items down there. You just got to deal with the poison. Oh, there's skeletons. I can't see [ __ ] The washing pool. I saw that [ __ ] I do not care. That better be exactly what I think it is. It is. It's just the katana but bigger. This is exactly what I've been waiting for. This is why I didn't spend all my titanite. Got the same light attack as the uchi katana. I think the heavy is a little bit different. Yeah, it is. It's a little slower. Not the best R1, but I do not care. Does like no damage compared to my Uchi Katana. I got to get some Titanite. Dude, these guys are so annoying to hit. I don't know what like the strategy is with these guys. Go to this guy. Reinforce weapons. Just start smashing some stones into it. There we go. Plus seven. Can I dual wield in this game? I thought I heard somebody say you can power stance. I don't know how you do it. Whatever. All I need is one sword for right now. Can't let greed overcome me. I even said that they were going to give me a new katana soon. My intuition. I could just tell. Look, they're teasing me with new [ __ ] They know. So, it does a little bit more damage than my uchchi katana. Not by a whole lot, though. So, they're pretty comparable. Oh, this thing breaks like crazy. Wait, I didn't even notice. Look at how much it goes down. But [screaming] allows for strikes from great distance, but its construction makes it extremely fragile. I don't know if there's any way I can like increase this thing's durability, but yeah, this is going to be like a weapon I only use against bosses pretty much. [screaming] What the [ __ ] Why do these guys have evil magical powers? I Wait, is this a boss fight? Kind of looks like a boss fight. Surely it is. Yeah, tough enemy ahead. Lesser foe ahead. I should spend my souls. I forget. Now I'm conflicted on if I should even upgrade the washing pole. Its usefulness is very limited. Dump everything into vitality for now. I just want more equip load. Isn't there a guy that I need to be like looking out for whose name was Pate? Pate does sound really familiar, but I can't tell. Can I torch? Can I set this thing on fire? No way. Right. Also, I don't know what the consequences are for killing someone. >> I'm not going to lie, the katana move set in this game is not very good. An ornament depicting a ladder. Dude, this guy does not play around about his job. The ornament does not seem to have any particular function and should not be worth much, but is sold at an exorbitant price. Oh, the dark gauntlets are for the the like dark wraith set. So, the more and more of these mimics I find, I'm probably going to find more of this dark armor. Oh, this is definitely the boss. Torch required a head. Ah, [ __ ] Okay, well, I don't have a torch right now. Mytha the Baneful Queen. It's a snake woman holding her own head. She takes crazy damage. No, please don't kill me. Okay, well, luckily I found the bonfire. I want to see what the torch does, though. I don't know if the torch actually does anything, but the message said so. Okay.
