WHY do Babies Come From? Ancient civilizations from all over the world said that the soul was brought to the fetus from the heavens. Today's science with electromagnetism and cosmic radiation are speaking the same story but without the handy dandy allegory to make it knowable through personified story. The ancient people weren't naive though, and had spiritual, mathematical technology embedded and fused with their architecture to help tune the soul. We are finally starting to understand that we are a carbon copy of the cosmos itself. Reality is alive and wants to experience itself through us as vehicles. Another common archetype of ancient mythology is Sol, or a living and breathing, sentient sun. This is no surprise considering everything we are stems from molecules fueled by our nearest star. But all ancient cultures referred to stars as ancient kings that still "communicate" with us in mysterious ways today. Continuing the theme of connecting modern science to this ancient lore, we might find this archetype to be more literal than allegory when addressing where the individual human soul comes from. This cosmic alchemy may very well be the entire reason we were born here on Earth. We are on the leading edge of that alchemical evolution, billions of years in the making. Once we realize that we are our own mercurial figures of civilized wisdom, we will have to start acting like it, one micro-supernova at a time.
