In October 1996, a family of four on a quiet rural property outside Farmington, New Mexico say their night came apart at exactly 1 a.m. A blinding green light filled the house. Tall, faceless gray figures stood in the field, facing the windows. They barricaded themselves in the basement until sunrise — and when they finally opened the door, it no longer led to their house. It opened onto an empty field, nearly a mile from where their home had stood. Did any of it happen?
