Elden Ring Tarnished Edition added two brand new starting classes, and today I’m taking the Heavy Knight to its absolute limits. The Heavy Knight might be one of the most ridiculous starting classes in Elden Ring. You start with extremely heavy armor, a huge amount of Endurance, and a new weapon that can actually carry you through almost the entire game. So I decided to see just how far this class could go. For this run, I’m only allowed to use the Heavy Knight’s starting weapon and armor. I have to keep the entire Heavy Knight armor set equipped for the entire run, and I’m not allowed to use any defensive talismans or level up Vigor. The goal is simple, see if this absurdly tanky armor can carry me through Elden Ring while I completely neglect my health. And somehow, this build ended up being strong enough to destroy pretty much every boss in the base game, including Malenia. Even with only 14 Vigor and no defensive talismans, the Heavy Knight armor was letting me survive attacks that would normally obliterate me. I Climb.
