Some compositions become a picture, a moment, or a feeling for me, especially when it comes to ambient music. After finishing this piece, I spent a long time listening to its atmosphere, trying to understand what image it evokes. Gradually, a scene appeared in my mind: a quiet, empty harbour, the sky covered with heavy clouds. A person in a coat stands by the water, looking into the distance at a ship slowly leaving the shore. Perhaps they are followed by thoughts of sadness and melancholy, yet somewhere inside there is still a warm hope for something better.
