Un ouvrier forestier de la Livingston Development Corporation quitte son pick-up, monte un chemin forestier avec sa chienne Lara, et se retrouve face à un dôme métallique de 6,4 mètres, un OVNI qui flotte au-dessus de la clairière. Il rentre chez lui à pied, le pantalon déchiré, le menton et les cuisses en sang, incapable de redémarrer son véhicule. La police ouvre une enquête pour agression. C'est le seul dossier d'ovni au monde officiellement enregistré comme une agression criminelle. Le Conteur de l'inconnu reprend le dossier Robert Taylor pièce par pièce : les marques en forme d'échelle relevées au sol, les deux traces circulaires laissées par les sphères, l'état du pantalon, les témoins du voisinage à l’époque ainsi que de tous nouveaux témoignages révélés en 2025. 📁 SOURCES ET RÉFÉRENCES ▸ LIVRES — Monsieur Ron Halliday, UFO Scotland: The Secret History of Scotland's UFO Phenomenon, Black and White Publishing, 1998, réédition 2001 : https://openlibrary.org/books/OL51765401M/UFO_Scotland — Monsieur Malcolm Robinson, The Dechmont Woods UFO Incident (An Ordinary Day, An Extraordinary Event), 2019, ISBN 978-0-244-15911-5 : https://blackwells.co.uk/bookshop/product/The-Dechmont-Woods-UFO-Incident-An-Ordinary-Day-An-Extraordinary-Event-by-Robinson-Malcolm/9780244159115 — Monsieur Malcolm Robinson, UFO Case Files of Scotland, volume 3, chapitre 11 « Updates on the Dechmont Woods UFO Encounter », ISBN 978-1-918038-86-6 : https://www.strandbooks.com/ufo-case-files-of-scotland-volume-3-9781918038866.html — Monsieur Steuart Campbell, The UFO Mystery Solved, Explicit Books, 1994, pages 150 à 158, ISBN 0-9521512-0-0 ▸ PRESSE D'ÉPOQUE — The Scotsman, samedi 10 novembre 1979, page 5 — Sunday Express, dimanche 11 novembre 1979, page 10 — Daily Record, lundi 12 novembre 1979, page 9 — Daily Record, mercredi 14 novembre 1979, page 30 — Aberdeen Press and Journal, mercredi 14 novembre 1979, page 5 — West Lothian Courier, vendredi 16 novembre 1979, page 1 — Daily Record, mardi 4 novembre 1980, page 22 ▸ ÉTUDES UFOLOGIQUES — Monsieur Martin Keatman et Monsieur Andrew Collins, « Physical Assault by Unidentified Objects at Livingston », Flying Saucer Review, parties publiées en 1979 et 1980 (vol. 25 n° 6 ; vol. 26 n° 1, juin 1980 ; vol. 26 n° 3, septembre 1980) — Flying Saucer Review, vol. 25 n° 6, 1979, récit de Monsieur Robert Taylor ▸ ARTICLES ET SYNTHÈSES — BBC News, 9 novembre 2019 : https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-50262655 — The National, 15 mai 2023 : https://www.thenational.scot/culture/23524316.scots-close-encounter-ufo-dechmont-law-still-baffles/ — Daily Record, 10 février 2023 : https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/looking-back-west-lothians-famous-29183920 — Edinburgh Live, 12 novembre 2022 : https://www.edinburghlive.co.uk/news/history/remembering-west-lothian-ufo-encounter-25492060 Devenez Agent en souscrivant à la chaine !!! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_rW6alg4_YVQx0x5rep8MQ/join
