Like at least Bakugo wants it fair and square. Well his best shot. He doesn't even want it for anybody else other than himself. He doesn't care if anybody knew that he was number one as long as he as long as he knows, you know. Yeah. Like everybody knows he's number one, but he doesn't feel like it. So I respect him for that. I really do. Honestly. Respect. Oh yeah. No, he definitely doesn't feel like he very much respect. Who were you rooting for back when you watched this for the first time? I wanted Todoroki low key. I wanted Todoroki because he was the Well, I mean, not that I I kind of liked him. I just thought he was cool. Um, obviously I wanted Deku the most like in my hard parts or whatever, but I thought since Todoroki was the number one like recruit, I thought he was going to Oh, and then after he beats Deku, I was like, "Oh, he's totally going to win." He could have won if he used his fire, maybe. I think Bakugo winning in that way actually does the most. It does the most for everyone in the character realm. It does the most for Todoroki because he's unsettled. Does the most for him because we know like he won in the worst way possible and like I just feel it does the most for everybody. Well, no. And it really inspires Deku to freaking train and get stronger. Was perfect for each character. I know. If Todoroki would have won with his ice, he would never have gone to see his mom. No way. And it gives Deku and Todoroki like kind of a new like dynamic maybe friendship. Yeah. Which I really like. Dude, Todoroki is easily like top tier character from the show. I was going to say number two, but then I was like All Might and Deku like pretty hard, dude. All Might's my goat. Not even close. And him revealing that he was just quirkless too is sick. Yes, dude. So epic. I need moreense though. No backtory. It kind of makes sense that he would I feel like the best person to give that power to is someone who's quirkless rather than someone that has a quirk. Unless they have like a not very strong quirk because dude I don't know. It's crazy. It was the first time we've ever heard like superhero. Like every other time they just say hero hero. He's like if I would have given you one for all to Todoroki, you'd be a superhero. He'd literally be like all powerful. Dang, bro. Yeah, that was interesting. Yeah, he'd literally be all powerful. Fire, ice, and one for all. One for all. What do you guys think the overall story with Bakugo will be? Like, like what do you think? What do you think the catalyst will be for his development? Like, I don't know what it'll be because obviously he just needs to be humble and he needs to get over this like complex he has. But I don't know really what could It's like funny. It's like he wants to be the strongest, right? We all know he wants to be number one. But for why though? Like like for why? Like why does he want to be the strongest? Yeah. Like like what? You know what I mean? I feel like I know why Deku wants to be the strongest is cuz he wants to save people. He wants to be a hero that inspires people like All Might. Like why does Bakugo want to be the strongest? It's almost cuz he like thinks he's better than other people. No. Yeah. Like that's all the show has given us up to this point is that like he literally just he has that superiority complex. It's like weird. He has like a superiority complex and an inferiority complex at the same time. It's so interesting because I know they both go kind of hand because he literally said, "I need to be better than Deku." Yes. Like it's so like pitted against Deku and like all this stuff, but like I said, like dude, he's just somehow always failing in front of Deku. Like just a little bit. And he hates Deku's like handouts, but Deku is such a nice guy that he'll always like offer to help and be nice. One thing I will say uh like at least up until this point of the show like just from from the like just from what I heard and what we would see in the comments, I really thought like Deku was going to be like really annoying and stuff before we started the show. Deku is like a goated guy. Yeah, dude. He's goated, bro. Like honestly, like he's just a he's like all wholesome activity. That's all he is. Straight wholesome, bro. He's straight wholesome activity. He's a freaking hero. Like he's not annoying. He's not like he's just a whole Does he turn into a rat? Like I don't know. Like I just It's actually cuz I remember Yeah. Like when I heard about like Deku, it was always like he's a rat like all this stuff. It's probably is his voice or something. But it's got to be his dub voice cuz I'm like watching dub anyways. Deku like bro he's like I feel like he's everything that this show is about low key. like quirkless. Like that meant so much to him finding out that All Might was quirkless, too. And like, you know, you're the rarity in this world that doesn't have like dude, he's just embodies the whole show. He's meddling in a way. He's meddling with other people's things when he shouldn't when he when he knows he or not when he knows he shouldn't, but he like doesn't need to, but he does. And he truly values that like he truly values how important it is. You're like your what makes you you like your power, you know? Like he truly values that. He helps people see it. He's the goat essentially. He will be the goat. No. Yeah. He just embodies like just a good hero. Yeah. He has things to learn, but he's a good guy. He can't keep breaking his body every time he fights. Like I don't know. That makes me His crooked hand and his broken arm that won't be the same is actually making me I'm glad that recovery girl said that. She's like, "I ain't helping you anymore." just you got to figure this out. It's way It is way too self-destructive. Especially that time he went way over. Yeah. It's like even if he did win like what was he going to do the next round? Yeah. Well, they literally they were like trying to call the match cuz they were like his kid's freaking destroying himself and now his hands just effed up forever. His hands like bent and the bones are all messed. She's never going to heal him again is what she said because it's too self-destructive. It's hard, man. It'd be hard using your power knowing you're going to break your bones. Like that be tough. Like go like a confin not a confined area but like a area where he can just focus on like flicking things with his power. Like anything to just slowly like gain more um what's the word? Like yeah control over his power. It's going to be tough though. Maybe for now he needs something added to his like suit or like whatever he wears to like absorb the contact like with Nou or whatever, you know? Like like maybe if he had like a glove or some boots or something. Yes. Like something. Yes. To like to to transfer I don't know if this is even possible like to so that his physical body doesn't just absorb all of that uh force rebound. Yes. It doesn't so like it it so it can destroy. Yeah. I feel like that girl who Hatsum, is that her name? Who he became kind of friends with could help with that? Something whether it's like a limiter or it absorbs like the shock or something like that. Cuz I mean when he punched Nou Nomu. I know. Yeah. When he punched Nomu, nothing happened cuz it just absorbed it all or whatever. I think he said it was because he controlled it. This show has been such a pleasant surprise of just like how much I love it. I love watching it. It's so enjoyable. It was so wholesome. Sport event was good, dude. Sport event was awesome. Great for a training. Awesome. It was quick. Now I don't know what they're going to do. They have school off for two days. Well, we got stained now. Well, and but they said that pro heroes are going to try to recruit them. I wonder. Well, it all just depends on when Stain and those villains come back around. I don't think people would maybe recruit Deku because it was so self-destruct. They did have mixed reviews on it. They're like, he's power crazy, but then they're like, he has spirit. True. Deku's like if LeBron had like the frailness of Kawhi Leonard or something like he just is like the best but like it's like if LeBron just getting injured all the time like as athletic as LeBron like terrifyingly got hurt just always getting hurt it's like oh do you even want him so insane he's insane that's so fun answer so true that was fun man sport friend. Uh, might might take uh, it's not really a training arc, is it? That doesn't really count as a training arc. It's a training arc. Is that a training arc? I don't think that's I think that's more of a like a person I think that's more of like an I feel like that's more of an event. Yeah, it's more of like That wasn't really an That was just an arc. I feel like it's more of like the tuning exams slash like Hunter exams slash like it's not really a training. It's definitely like a test. That would make that would be a good comparison. I wouldn't even say it's a hunter exam. I'd probably say that's like the tower or even that. But then it's like it's not like the training arc like the the training arcs. Well, even the tower was I was saying like the high training arc Heavens arena or Yeah, Heaven's Arena was a training arc, too. Was that a training arc? I mean essentially. Oh, you mean because Wing was teaching stuff essentially. They would go back and forth like they would take breaks. I think this is they're learning. They're they're learning. They are learning. I think I think it's training. I think this is way more comparable to like an exam type thing. Like hunter exam, training exam. That's what it seems like to me at least. Yeah. It's like it's not it's not the same as cuz training it's training on the go versus just straight up training. Yeah. Like training through experience and whatever. So I was going to say which is maybe the best training. Uh HighQ season two still the best training arc I've ever watched.
